Stockholm Blues Fest 2017: The Retreat

WELCOME to the 8th annual Stockholm Blues Fest!
An extra long weekend of inspiring workshops with international blues teachers and late night blues parties - away from the city!
Tvetagården, just outside the town of Södertälje. Approximately 1 hour by public transport (or 30 minutes by car) from Stockholm. Accommodation, food, classes and parties (and beautiful nature and sauna!) all in the one place!

Eight hours of blues classes, plus at least two hours of complementary solo classes.
This workshop is not suitable for beginners: participants must have previous blues dance experience.
This year there will be no auditions. Partnered blues dance classes will occur in two parallel groups, in a mix of core material and ‘choose your own adventure’-style classes.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, with live music!
Sunday evening after party in Stockholm (not included in workshop price).

Classes, parties and meals are all included in the above price! Members of Swedish Swing Society receive a 200 SEK discount.
This low price is based on all participants being ready to help out during the camp AND during the final clean-up!

Full payment must be received 2 weeks after acceptance, otherwise you risk losing your place at the camp.
Cancellations before 25 April will receive a full refund minus 250 kr processing fee.(Email
Cancellations after 25 April will receive no refund. You may however transfer your ticket to someone else with the same dance role (leader or follower).
We are seeking two categories of volunteers: ‘party pass volunteers’ and kitchen crew. For more information see our Facebook page
Dinner Thursday, breakfast, lunch and dinner Friday and Saturday, breakfast and lunch Sunday included! Always with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Please tell us about allergies at , and we will do our best to accommodate your needs!
