Alvik

This floos is nice!
When you enter the Sunday venue "Brommasalen" in "Alviks Kulturhus" (Culture activity house of Alvik) you might recognice this place from one of the parties at Sweden Balboa Weekend 2015 - or, maybe not - we will transform this elegant dance hall into something cosy, just perfect for a Sunday afternoon & evening dance hang out. The best music, lot's of shuffling, yummy brunch, perhaps some surprices, cocktails and YOU will make this "pricken över i:et" for Scandinavian Shuffle 2017.

Check here for some helping information how to find your way to Alviks Kulturhus. For recommendation of place to stay close by if staying until Monday morning (yes!) go check here; there is a hotel only a short walk away. The venue is just next to the subway, buses and tram, making it easy peasy to get here from the central city. The ariport bus to Bromma also stops around the corner (Bromma airport is not too far away), which also could be handy and an option to catch and then switch to the Arlanda airport bus at Bromma airport if don't want to visit the city on your way to Arlanda. Click on the map / expand the information pane on the map found here for some recommendations how to get to the airports from Alvik.

Alvik

The huge wall painting in Brommasalen is from when the house was built in 1940's, with details typical for the time period showing the actual building of the house. You will for sure notice this wall ;)
